Larry Purcell began his real estate career in October 1969 working in property management in Sydney's west and then later the eastern suburbs and city areas. He became a licensed real estate agent in 1971 and was appointed licensee in charge of an office in Fairfield. In October 1973 Larry opened his own office in Liverpool. Having been raised on the land in the Cowra/Woodstock area he was drawn back and bought a wool growing and cereal growing farm at Barmedman in 1978. After nearly 20 years on the farm he sold it and established a wool transport business in Temora, West Wylong and Wagga Wagga districts.
Larry took up his position at First National Cowra in 2009 selling (servicing) rural and village properties.
